Because we work closely with our clients throughout these moments, we’ve come to understand what matters to them beyond finance. So, we wanted to create a way to give back that reflects those relationships, not just our business.
That’s where Your Cause. Our Contribution. comes in.
Each month, one of our clients will be randomly selected and we’ll make a donation to a charity of their choice. It’s a simple way for us to support both our clients and the causes that are important to them.
How it works
1. All clients are automatically included
There’s nothing to enter and nothing extra to do. If you’ve completed business with CoG then you’re part of the draw.
2. We contact the selected client
They nominate a charity that means something to them personally, whether that’s a local community group, a national organisation or a charity that has supported them or someone close to them.
3. We donate and share their story
The following month, we make the donation and highlight the charity in our newsletter and on social media to help raise awareness of the amazing work they do.
Why we’re doing it
Charitable giving means more when it has a personal connection.
Our clients care about many different causes, from health and wellbeing support to community initiatives and family services. Rather than deciding where contributions should go ourselves, we wanted our giving to reflect the real experiences and values of the people we help every day.
By placing the choice in our clients’ hands, each donation represents a genuine connection supporting causes that truly matter to real people.
